Explore Our Best Cities

Santo Domingo
The capital of the Dominican Republic and one of the oldest cities in the Caribbean is Santo Domingo. Buildings in its walled and cobblestoned historic center, the Zona Colonial, date back to the 1500s, including the cathedral, the first structure erected in the New World.
Juan Dolio
Located an hour east of the capital city of Santo Domingo, and closer still to Las Américas International Airport (SDQ), the cosmopolitan beach town of Juan Dolio offers an easy and tranquil tropical escape near the capital city. A favorite of well-heeled urbanites who flock here on weekends, Juan Dolio’s 10-kilometer (six-mile) long, spacious and sparkling white sand beach is dotted with hotels, dive shops, restaurants, and bars, as well as a variety of vacation homes, upscale residential communities, and newly built condominiums.
La Romana
A gateway to adjacent tourist regions, La Romana is a city on the Caribbean coast of the Dominican Republic. Altos de Chavón is a recreated 16th-century Mediterranean village with artist studios that looks out over the Chavón River.
Punta Cana
Punta Cana, the easternmost tip of the Dominican Republic, abuts the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. It's a region known for its 32km stretch of beaches and clear waters. The Bávaro area and Punta Cana combine to form what's known as La Costa del Coco, or the Coconut Coast, an area of lavish, all-inclusive resorts. It's popular for zip-lining, windsurfing, kayaking and sailing
